Let's thank God for blessing the Pastor and People of Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church!

Calling All Men of The Mount (and Your Friends): Starting Thursday, August 7th at 7:00 PM (this is a change), Pastor Nelson will be leading the 2nd installment of the Men's Ministry Book Club. You'll be reading "The Man the Moment Demands: Master the 10 Characteristics of the Comprehensive Man"  by Jason Wilson.

Here's one description of the book:  The Man the Moment Demands will empower you to become the right man in every moment by embodying the ten characteristics of the comprehensive man: the Fighter, the Provider, the Leader, the Lover, the Nurturer, the Gentleman, the Friend, the Husband, the Father, and the Son.

With  The Man the Moment Demands you'll learn how to: unpack the impact of your past and unlock the power to shape your future; embrace transparency and express the full spectrum of your emotions while maintaining self-control; evolve beyond the “alpha male” myth through example, not intimidation; and answer the question “Who are you?” to strip away the facade and live authentically.

To sign up, click here.  On the registration form, you can also purchase the book through the church for $8.00. We have 10 copies available.

In an effort to keep everyone safe during worship and ministry activities, our Trustees are asking all members and guests to help us maintain a secure environment. In this current climate, we must all do our part to stay vigilant and protect one another. Please remember the following important guidelines:

Be aware of your surroundings at all times while on church property. If you see something that doesn’t feel right, notify a Trustee or Staff Person immediately.

Do not prop open any exterior doors under any circumstances. All doors should remain closed and locked unless they are being actively monitored.

Arrive on Time for Worship: Arriving on time also helps us maintain a secure environment, as it reduces the need to open the exterior doors multiple times once worship has begun.

Exit the building promptly after worship and other events so that our Trustees can properly secure the church.

Thank you for partnering with us to make Sixth Mount Zion a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
