Thank You To All Who Participated...Check out photos on PhotoCircle!

We are grateful for members maturing and being involved in ministry. For our volunteer appreciation, we are shouting out ALL Ministry Leaders, Church Officers (Deacons, Trustees, Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Historian), and those who serve in the following Mount Ministries: Music, Sunshine, Movement/Dance, Bible Study Teachers, Ushers, Safety and Security, Transportation, Media, Children & Youth Workers, Health & Wellness, Finance, Counters,  Food Pantry, and the cast and crew of The Whip, the Hammer, and the Cross! We are asking that if you are in any of the ministries above and will be in worship on December 28th to RSVP so we can have enough tokens of appreciation. Only those who RSVP and stay after worship will receive their gifts.

Preparing for 2026

As we plan for 2026, think about what God has for us in the future. How will the ministry you are a part of help Sixth Mount Zion become the hospitable, relational, biblically based, community focused, generous and worshipping church we aspire to be?

2026 Ministry Preparation Packet

In an effort to keep everyone safe during worship and ministry activities, our Trustees are asking all members and guests to help us maintain a secure environment. In this current climate, we must all do our part to stay vigilant and protect one another. Please remember the following important guidelines:

Be aware of your surroundings at all times while on church property. If you see something that doesn’t feel right, notify a Trustee or Staff Person immediately.

Do not prop open any exterior doors under any circumstances. All doors should remain closed and locked unless they are being actively monitored.

Arrive on Time for Worship: Arriving on time also helps us maintain a secure environment, as it reduces the need to open the exterior doors multiple times once worship has begun.

Exit the building promptly after worship and other events so that our Trustees can properly secure the church.

Thank you for partnering with us to make Sixth Mount Zion a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Need a Ride to Worship?

If you need transportation, please contact the church office (804-648-7511) by Friday at 12:00 PM. Let us know that you plan to attend worship every Sunday and you will stay on the list each week. It is your responsibility to let the church office know by Friday if you will NOT need a ride.
