For years, SMZBC has partnered with George Washington Carver Elementary School, as part of our church’s mission. We’ve been invited to help create a welcoming, safe, and smooth arrival experience for students as they begin the school year. Student arrival begins at 7:30 AM on Tuesday, August 19th, and we’ve been told that our presence would mean a great deal.
They asked for 10 members (Pastor Nelson and Rev. Butler will be two of the 10, so we need 8 more) If you are able to make this a memorable and spirited start to the school year,

The Sisters of Sixth Mount Zion Summer Book Club
continues Wednesday at 6:30 PM

Need a Ride to Worship?
If you need transportation, please contact the church office (804-648-7511) by Friday at 12:00 PM. Let us know that you plan to attend worship every Sunday and you will stay on the list each week. It is your responsibility to let the church office know by Friday if you will NOT need a ride.
