The Sisters of Sixth Book Club is ready to dive into an emotionally layered novel telling the story about four generations of Black women navigating love, trauma, motherhood, and the complicated legacy of silence. It’s a celebration of what we carry, what we confront, and what we become when we choose healing over hiding.

For our first gathering, please read Part 1: Snakes and come ready to answer these questions: "What makes you a grown woman?" and "has your definition of being a grown woman changed as you have changed?"
