It has come to my attention that some of our members have picked up the habit of eating and drinking in the sanctuary during worship. While I understand the occasional peppermint or cough drop, our trustees shared that people have been arriving for worship with fast food sandwiches, bags of chips, along with cups and bottles filled with juice or soda. After church service, some pews are full of crumbs.

As we are not in worship for hours at a time, I am asking that you refrain from eating and drinking in the sanctuary. If you need to eat or drink something, please step out of the sanctuary. Parents, this includes snacks you bring for your bigger children.

If you are seen eating or drinking, a trustee, staff member, or usher may ask you to step out of the sanctuary to eat. Please do not get upset with them. They are doing what I've asked of them.
